Wordless Wednesday - I'm stressed, tired & kind of feel like puking. But hey, I finally own a home!
Ok, so it's been a crazy couple of weeks, getting the mortgage and house stuff all sorted out. Being a first time home buyer, I'm in a bit of a panic seeing my life savings drained in a matter of minutes. These cartoons pretty much sum it all up. Well, since the closing is in 2 days, guess I should get packing, huh?

OMG, I totally BAHAHAHAHAHAHAed at the spinning double axle triple lutz mtg! I feel your pain, it's SUCH a nightmare to wade through! Congrats though, hope you bought in Crazy Town...I could use the company! At the very least, I hope you're still close enough to grab that drink soon! Now get packin' chickie, that's as big a nightmare as the financial end!

Oh, I didn't know it was your first house! That makes it more exciting - and more stressed... But no worries, we're moving on the 25th so we'll both be packing! I'm gonna need some tequila with my boxes please!
Congrats! How exciting! We bought our first home before we got engaged (days before, but whatevs) and it felt like more of a commitment than anything else. It's definitely more paperwork! But SO worth it!
We had the same feelings buying our first place last year! Yipes. I've never transferred that much money in my life as we did for the down payment. It was kind of fun to see it in my checking account … for 5 minutes.
Buying a house is so crazy. It's hard to fathom spending that much money. Congrats on getting a house though!

First time home owners rock!!!! And it beats paying rent!!! So excited, if you need some advice on how to be 70% packed on moving day and be a total shit show so that the movers black list you and swear at you in foreign languages all while wrangling two babies who act like total assholes during the whole process I am so your girl!
Congratulations!! What an exciting time. You'll never forget your very first home. Just remember, it all works out in the end and you don't have to follow anyone's rules now. Color that walls whatever you want and put as many holes in them as you choose. Oh, but you're also stuck fixing everything now too. Let us know how the move goes!
